Kathleen M. Kearney, RN, BSN, MSN, JD
Kathleen M. Kearney represents severely injured clients throughout the state of Texas from her main office in Dallas. Kathleen earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Boston College School of Nursing, and a master’s degree in advance practice nursing from Emory University School of Nursing. She attended Suffolk University Law School and became licensed as an attorney in 2006.
Kathleen was named a 2019 Texas Super Lawyer after being a Rising Star from 2012-2018 and an Up & Coming 50 Women in Texas in 2018 (Super Lawyers, Thomson Reuters). She was also included on the Top 40 Under 40 list by The National Trial Lawyers for many years. Kathleen received the Distinguished Service Award from The American Association of Nurse Attorneys in 2016, and was named Big Sister of the Year for Dallas County’s chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2014.
Kathleen is a member of several professional legal organizations including the American Association for Justice, Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and Dallas Women Lawyers Association. Every spring, she volunteers to judge the state high school mock trial competition and attends career day at a local elementary school. She also volunteers for the Dallas Bar Association’s Legal Line and recently started training as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in foster care.
Admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas, Kathleen is also permitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
